L.P.G. Cylinder
The crews were mobilised to a propane gas cylinder on fire in the Higher Broughton area. Just as we arrived a safety valve in the cylinder pipework blew shooting a flame 20 feet into the air for about twenty seconds. Below is the controlled extinction & cooling of the cylinder. The cause was accidental ignition of the pipework by the house owner who was repairing his flat roof.
TRACY IN ACTION ON THE LADDER ASSISTED BY TRIGGER.
